Working with BFC Networks we created a fresh new brand called cloudclassroom, we ran various sessions to gain the market, the direction of the brand and product as well as looking at the marketing materials from print to digital. Working closely with Alex Pearce we used a mix of design, typography & colour to connect with students & teachers/staff instantly with the new brand. We then created the user experience & interface in SharePoint 2013 Online for Office 356.
We took time to understand their audience and developed their new brand that was modern and perfectly suited to their target market of education professionals.
We wanted to keep things simple we built a single page website from scratch to enable users to interact with animation, hover overs & positional trigger points.
The website needed to be easily accessible on any device and the information readily available presented clearly. Using white space and colour contrasts we achieved this.
The next task was to focus on the user experience & interface of the actual app. Leaning towards the Windows UI that has been developed & used in Office 365 & SharePoint 2013/Online we used block colours & white icons as a starting point.
We looked closely on the experience of the user, using termonology that was suitable for the different users at different staged of the app, whilst using clear buttons & blocks of content.
Not only have we created a range of marketing materials, website, application UI/UX we have also create and branded their social media platforms such as Twitter & Facebook. An example of how we always look to go the extra distance for our clients new & old.
The new brand has been received with much praise not only internally within BFC Networks but by their partners & even competitors within the education industry. The application is always evolving and as part of our continuous partnership we are looking forward in take the application into further development phases.
