Life & Death Tattoos are looking to make a mark on the tattoo industry & we created a fresh new brand to enable them to make a big impact on the UK. We developed their new brand, WordPress website to enable them to manage their content, created an in house intranet based on SharePoint 2013 & enabled the business to run smoothly with Office365.
Based in the heart of Shrewsbury & run by John Lewis, Life & Death Tattoos are a tattoo studio that specialise in black & grey portrait realism tattoos as well as traditional & neo traditional art.
Talking to Life & Death Tattoos about their requirements, we researched into aspects of the tattooing industry to see where Life & Death Tattoos would sit in what has become a booming industry. They felt they & their work sat that the top end of the industry amongst the very best in the UK.
We produced a wide range of brand proposals where they could clearly see how their new brand will be presented across a range of digital platforms. Finally creating a fresh new brand for Life & Death Tattoos, we based the logo on old fashioned tattoo needles.
They needed a solution that would be easy to manage, quick to produce content and importantly help with search engine optimisation SEO - WordPress was the answer to managing their website.
We implement Office365 to enable the business to work effectively & collaboratively. We used Exchange for email for client communication & utilised the calender as a booking tool, which was needed for the year long waiting list.
We developed, design & branded a working SharePoint 2013 intranet to enable employees build up profile & picture resources of all their clients. This enabled the employees work away from the studio but still be effective by sharing everything via the cloud.
We have developed a strong working relationship with Life & Death Tattoos, where we are always looking for ideas to grow the marketing side as well as the business side. We are in the process of launching a clothing line after months or planning & garment, print sourcing.
The brand as a whole has received excellent feedback. With over 20,000 Facebook likes, 10,000 instagram followers and over 5,000 worth of Twitter followers the brand continues to grow.
Internally the whole overhaul of administration has helped take the business to the next level. Using SharePoint as an intranet it helps communications & collaboration. Wordpress makes the website easy to content manage and Office365 ties everything together as the main communication tool with email, lync & remote access.
